Photography is a visual art like drawing and painting. It’s about finding the right motive and composing the perfect picture.
Since the digital revolution, almost everybody has a camera these days - a huge DSLR, a compact camera or even a mobile phone camera. People shoot thousands of pictures - and delete most of them!
In the photography class we will learn photography the old-fashioned way. Here it is not the number of pictures you shoot that counts, but the quality.
We will discuss both technical and aesthetic matters, try digital and analogue photo techniques, as well as explore the possibilities of retouching in Photoshop.
Since we also have a darkroom with all facilities to develop both analog negatives and positives we will also dive into the world of classic, old-fashioned analog photography – from inserting the film to developing the final picture.
